Thomas Mentele has helped establish a leading hydrogen technology company in Redmond, Washington, USA. At the operating company, HyTech Power, LLC., Tom worked with a team of experienced executives and entrepreneurs on developing breakthrough on-board, on-demand hydrogen power systems, and related low emission, safe, low pressure, digitally controlled storage and delivery solutions. At HTP Inc., Tom serves as VP and CFO of the holding company.

Prior to his recruitment to HyTech, Tom's diverse career included boutique banking, financial advising, philanthropy, and business.

His career path led to HyTech through world leading organizations such as UBS Americas Group, Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, University of Washington, and Georgia-Pacific Corporation. Tom also worked in the commercial fishing industry in his early days.

During his career, Tom has served on committees to advance private enterprise and non-profit organizations that matter to him and his family. Tom has also performed as a public speaker on wealth management, fundraising, and relationship management.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington’s School of Business. Tom is a Lifetime member of the UWAA, and is a Heritage Society Member at Gonzaga University.

Tom and his spouse, Cathy live in Seattle, Washington with their three children.
